I get lots of doves in my backyard; mourning doves, white winged doves, Florida collared doves; but only one turtle dove. The weirdest thing is, the turtle dove doesn't hang out with the other doves. He hangs out with the albino pigeon. They generally arrive together, eat together and leave together. The only two white birds who frequent the yard. Maybe the dove thinks this larger white bird is his mommy.
